Faces of Nigeria

The Federal government of Nigeria is made up powers, functions, privileges, processes, instruments, objectives and resources vested separately or across board on the three main branches of government (the Executive, Judiciary and Legislature),  the Armed Forces, and certain special bodies by the People of Nigeria through the Constitution. In addition, the Legislature (through its law making, oversight and administrative functions), the Executive and Judiciary (through law implementation, enforcement and administrative duties) also have powers to expand or reduce the size or scope of the Federal Government within the limited delegated authority or discretion allowed them under the Constitution. They may also through lawful deployments suspend or activate some powers or components of the federal government for various justifiable reasons.
